Responsibilities :

TRC is a national engineering, consulting, and construction management firm that provides integrated engineering, consulting, and construction management services to the Environmental, Power, Oil - Gas, and Infrastructure markets. The company is a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive, entrepreneurial company with many opportunities.

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Civil or Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our growing Design Management Services team in Chicago, IL . This role works closely with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects to a variety of clients including municipalities, counties, commercial and industrial entities.

Job Responsibilities

• Be involved in Civil Engineering related project aspects including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates . Projects may include planning, modeling, and design of facilities such as water and wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, pump stations, utilities (water transmission, gravity sanitary sewer mains, force mains, etc.), hydraulics and hydrology, drainage design, site plans, roadway, and other miscellaneous civil design projects.
• Ability to execute engineering best practices for C ivil or Mechanical engineering projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly.
• Assist senior staff in the production of project plans, specifications, scheduling, budgeting, technical memorandums and cost estimates
• Assist senior staff with construction management tasks such as material submittal reviews build reviews and coordination with Contractors
• Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation and assessment for infrastructure projects
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, cities / clients, and other public agencies

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation : Employee may be eligible for participation in the Companys annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 / Yr.
