A boutique law firm is hiring a part time Attorney. In office or remote attorney position. The position is a temporary project expected to last 3 months, Hours are part time approx 15-20 hours per week.
Pay is commensurate with legal experience as an attorney; $35.00 $50.00 / hr
The role will report to the managing partner and assist him with insurance defense and discrimination cases. This will include drafting briefs, preparing depositions and conducting some depositions and extensive writing and research.
Additionally this role may require attending a few (zoom) hearings,
This can be a remote role for an experienced attorney. Junior Associates or newly admitted to the Illinois Bar will need to be in office or reside in the area.
Minimum Requirements
Must be a member of the Illinois Bar
Experience attending hearings
Comfortable with research
Exceptional writing skills
