A growing design-engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in Data Center and mission-critical design. This is a high-visibility leadership position with opportunity to lead design efforts, build and mentor your own team, and play a key role in future hiring and growth initiatives.
You’ll be hands-on in design initially, then transition into a leadership and oversight role while continuing to stay involved technically. The company maintains a lean, collaborative culture and offers hybrid flexibility when not traveling or at project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical design solutions for data centers and complex power systems
Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Coordinate across disciplines, clients, and vendors
Conduct site visits and field observations
Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables
Mentor and guide junior engineers
Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
~ 10+ years of experience, including data center design
Strong knowledge of MV (34.5 kV) and LV distribution systems
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
Proficient in NEC, load / fault / voltage drop calculations
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Details
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8–5
Travel : ~25–30%
Hybrid flexibility outside of office / site visits
Compensation : ~$150K–$170K+ (Highly Negotiable Base Salary)
