Preschool Teacher
We want you to be part of our wonderful teacher community at Dunwoody Baptist Preschool!
We are looking for qualified Lead, Assistant and Substitute Teachers, who love working with young children in a Christian preschool environment.
Teachers must be Christian and willing to share Jesus love with their students and families. Early Education degree or certification preferred for Lead Teachers.
All Lead and Assistant Teachers receive Paid Days Off based on # of days worked. Teachers are also paid for school holidays including Fall Break Week, Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK, February Break Week and Spring Break to only name a few.
They receive a Church Fitness Center membership discount. Our Preschool pays for your continuing education, too. Significant tuition discount offered to Teacher children who attend our preschool!
Teacher hours are 8 : 30am-1 : 30pm. There are additional employment opportunities in our Early Morning Drop-Off and Extended Day, too.
Every classroom has 2 teachers and class sizes are small. Our preschool serves children 6 months-Young 5’s.
Children enjoy high academics, amazing Bible curriculum, Science, Chapel, Gym and Music classes. Our school has 2 amazing age appropriate playgrounds, a science classroom with live animals, a sports gym, big music rally room and Chapel rally room.
We have a wonderful library, a stocked art supply room and excellent variety of educational toys and manipulatives.
Our teaching staff is a close knit community focused on encouraging each other and creating an awesome and supportive work environment.
Teachers enjoy their own kitchen which always has plenty of coffee and tea! The Lead Teacher position available is for 5 days / week and under.
Administrative team is actively supportive of teaching staff.
DBP is accredited by COGNIA (formerly SACS / AdvancED) and has served the Dunwoody community’s early education needs for over 50 years.
