Registered Nurse - Manager

Job Summary Under the direction of the Chair of the Division of Cardiology, the Manager of Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratories manages the invasive cardiac and EP services across Cook County Health (CCH). Supervises the clinical and nonclinical staff in the invasive cardiovascular laboratories, including cardiac cath and EP labs and hybrid room(s) and formulates and implements policies and procedures, supports quality improvement initiatives, reviews outcome measures, and initiates needed change. Oversees the implementation of various operational and quality improvement initiatives in the invasive areas which include, but are not limited to, cardiac cath, EP, structural, vascular, and hybrid procedures and other related clinical services across CCH. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (must provide official College transcripts at time of interview).
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois (must provide at the time of interview).
• Five (5) years of full-time nursing experience, required.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in procedural unit, laboratory (i.e., stress lab, Cath lab, epi), and / or operating room, required.
• Two (2) years of full-time management and / or supervisory experience, required.
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular
• Shift 7a-3.30p with Flexibility Weekends possible. 24 / 7 accountability.
