Mazak Corporation is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our Flexible Manufacturing department. The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a first shift position.

Accountability : The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a first shift position.
Scope and Responsibilities :
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following :
Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employeesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessoriesPerform preventative maintenance tasksTest operation of machines and accessoriesComplete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, and parts installedUtilize various test equipment for trouble shooting purpose, indicators, test bars, clamp force, gages, etc.Education / Certification :
High School Diploma or equivalent is required2 yr. Manufacturing degree or Vocational School is preferredSkills :
Strong electrical backgroundProven mechanical aptitude with Mechanical Aptitude testPrevious experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinesExperience with machine alignments and levellingExperience with test equipment including electrical metersAbility to work in high pressure situationsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive daily basis.Heavier lifting in excess of 50lbs on periodic basisAbility to problem solve depending on situation.EOE, including disability / vets
