Controller

Position Summary

The Controller supervises the Accounting Department staff and has primary responsibility for managing cash, preparing and issuing monthly financial statements, general ledger, reconciliations, reports, and audits. Assure that Accounting Department functions are accurate, timely, complete, and in compliance with company's accounting financial practices.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Cash Management

• Receive and deposit all monies.
• Maintain daily balances in cashbooks and reconcile to bank accounts monthly or semi‐monthly.
• Initiate and handle Automated Clearing House (ACH), and wire transfers.
• Oversee and handle Accounts Payable Distributions.
• Make appropriate transfers of funds.
• Verify that interest on investments is received.
• Communication with owners and employees to assure timely collection of all receivables
