Job description

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and colleagues? Do you want to work for an agency committed to furthering independence for the disability community through high quality, community based services? MCIL is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly Service Response Specialist who is excited to contribute to the Independent Living movement. This position serves as the front desk and first point of contact for MCIL. The Service Response Specialist provides high quality internal and external customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Front desk operations such as answering and routing calls, ordering supplies, filing, and copying
  • Communications via phone, email, and in-person to respond to inquiries for advocacy needs, housing support, covid community coordination services and more.
  • Intakes for services and basic information and referral services
  • Distribution of PPE and at-home COVID test kids through outreach and service response

This position supports all programs within MCIL to provide administrative and program support for services and projects. Make a difference through high quality customer service and thoughtful and responsive service response.
