About The Position

Shift Description' : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM with night call coverage (rarely called in)

Weekend Requirements : Yes (select weekends – e.g., Sept 13-14, Oct 11-12, Dec 24-31)

Call Requirements : Yes, minimal; includes night call after 4 : 30 PM

Seeking a  Locum Interventional Radiologist to support inpatient and outpatient radiology needs.

This role includes interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing a range of interventional procedures, with additional outpatient responsibilities in Building 4 for CT / MRI contrast studies and biopsies.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Interpret imaging studies including CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, and MRI

Perform interventional procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, abscess drainage, chest tubes, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheter placement

Provide stroke CTs and acute care imaging for ICU, ED, and surgical cases

Support outpatient imaging needs including breast biopsies and contrast studies

Participate in call rotation with minimal night interruptions

Ensure documentation in Cerner EMR is accurate and timely

Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required

State License – Required

Residency / Fellowship – Required

BLS and DEA are required during credentialing.  CA Fluoroscopy required at submission!
