Sr. Manager, Sap Contracts Process Otc Workstream

RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager, Contracts role to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team. The Opportunity to Cash (O2C) workstream is a comprehensive end-to-end process that handles the complete cycle of order management, from receiving request for proposals to finalizing the payment and close out. It is designed to optimize and integrate various functions within an organization to streamline and enhance the efficiency of managing customer transactions. This role leads activities to enable strategic initiatives, establish program framework for process design and decision capture, and drives the launch and execution of blueprinting activities.

RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity, and performance. The oneRTX : Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project is one of several major, multi-year initiatives under oneRTX that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, how we operate and how we deliver to our customers so that we can achieve our full potential. The intent of oneRTX : PST is to harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform SAP's S / 4 HANA.

What you will do :

  • Drive business process for the Opportunity to Cash workstream for proposals and contracts while collaborating on other topics within the workstream such as pricing and / or order management, and / or customer management.
  • Partner with Digital and business units to evaluate and implement SAP and other tools that complement / enhance process optimization.
  • Partner with workstream leads in the business units to analyze recommendations for blueprinting to enable strategic goals identified in Global Design.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate across the RTX businesses and Digital Technology function within the O2C workstream and other workstreams (R2R, P2S, S2P) to help ensure continual alignment.
  • Work with BU leads and workstream leads to document and analyze user stories in order to define system and process requirements.
  • Maintain project plan for assigned responsibilities.
  • Assist in planning activities to establish scope, timeline, and resource plan for the assigned business processes.
  • Make moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products.
  • Problem solves by detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.
  • Partner with business units and system integrator to plan and execute activities for the various phases of the project.
  • Other responsibilities as necessary to complete oneRTX : Process & Systems-related work.
  • Travel up to 25%

Qualifications you must have :

  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Contracts Process and a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or Business Administration, Finance or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with SAP, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and other applicable software.
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry and the opportunity to cash business process such as proposals, contracts, negotiation, pricing, and / or order management.
  • Familiarity with RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) system and each Businesses prior product system, including CMS, IPD, and IPDS.
  • Ability to influence others to accept job function's view / practices and agree / accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Qualifications we prefer :

  • Experience with large scale system implementation project.
  • CORE (or equivalent) and project management expertise.
  • Align and translate strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables; clearly track and report progress to plan at both executive and working team level.
  • SAP Knowledge, prior implementation experience.
  • Ability to Travel up to 25%

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
