Inside Sales Account Manager

Your duties include growing sales of scientific products and services through various communication channels in a designated area, targeting clients in research, development, and quality assurance sectors to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
Your responsibilities include :
- Develop and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the value propositions of both Fisher Scientific and Thermo Fisher Scientific and their products specific to your market segment.
- Improve the application of tools and technology to improve the reach and impact of customer interactions.
- Develop strategic and tactical sales plans.
- Lead pricing within the territory to optimize profitability.
- Set the tone for the team and office, displaying role model leadership behaviors and supporting junior colleagues.
- Establish and sustain strong customer relationships with purchasing and end-user contacts.
- Apply available resources to meet customer needs and collaborate with a cross-functional team of suppliers and internal resources.
- Own the strategic direction for the territory; develop sales strategies to meet plans and expand business; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers in the assigned territory primarily by phone, but also face-to-face when required.
- Research competitor and industry activities, staying ahead of new products, services, and customer-relevant information. Integrate these discoveries into the business strategy and introduce fresh offerings.
- Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files for effective management of the territory.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific by clearly and consistently demonstrating our mission, vision, values, and objectives to customers and partners.
Minimum requirements / qualifications include :
Consistent record in sales, specifically within the research laboratory field, with a strong awareness of the existing market landscape for laboratory equipment, consumables, and / or chemicals.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the sciences.Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.Computer proficiency in MS Office and the Web along with the use of sales force software.Must possess the skills to multi-task and meet timelines as needed.Strong industry, pharmaceutical, and science background preferred.Fluent Swedish and English.Good interpersonal, time management, communication, presentation, strategic selling, and negotiating skills.Confident personality, able to successfully engage with customers across a variety of settings including one-to-one meetings, exhibitions, and formal presentations, across all sectors in which we operate.This role operates within a matrix environment requiring the post holder to work adeptly with multiple collaborators, to handle both competing requirements and concurrent project activity.Complete responsibilities effectively, following the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
