JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Florida medical license

Board : Board Eligible / Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery

DEA : Active DEA Certification

Certifications : As applicable (BLS, ACLS)

Experience : Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery required

Other Qualifications : Must provide case logs (past 12 months only, HIPAA compliant / de-identified); NPDB report within 3 months (clean, no hits)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform inpatient consults, surgical cases, and pre & postoperative rounding

Collaborate with APPs for consult notes and progress documentation (surgeon must add and cosign)

Provide weekend coverage for rounding and emergent OR cases (appr
