The Spears and Houston Insurance Group is a locally owned and operated insurance agency committed to delivering quality insurance solutions to individuals and businesses throughout the upstate of South Carolina.
They specialize in all types of insurance including auto, home, life, business, farm, workers compensation, motorcycle, boat, and more.
Spears & Houston, an Acrisure agency partner, has a current need for a full-time Customer Service Representative.
- Conducting inbound and outbound calls regarding insurance policies with policyholders and providers
- Actively solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to clients at every service contact
- Working together as a team to support the Sales Department to allow for maximum opportunity of revenue generation
- Maintain a positive attitude providing a pleasant place to work and increased productivity
- Ability to multi-task
- Miscellaneous clerical duties
- Stay current and understand company underwriting guidelines and rules for all carriers
- Computer documentation of every telephone call
Competencies :
- Associates degree or equivalent, preferred, but not required
- At least 3 years of customer service / call center experience, preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions
- Maintains stable performance when under heavy pressure or stress
- Exhibits passion and excitement over work, has a can-do attitude
- Possesses a strong willingness to work hard and sometimes long hours to get the job done
- Often solicits feedback and reacts calmly to criticism or negative feedback
