OVERVIEW : Job Description

DICKS SPORTING GOODS IS SEEKING FULL TIME WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEES at the Smithton Distribution Center!

Shifts Available :

2nd : Monday - Friday 3 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm

• earn $1 / hr more

3rd : Sunday - Thursday 11 : 00pm - 7 : 00am

Hourly Rate :

Processing Associate : $17.50 / hr.

Material Handler : $18.50 / hr.

Special Equipment Operator : $19.15 / hr.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Maintains production standards in all areas

Handle merchandise on the front end, stacking & opening boxes

Verifies correct hanger is used for garment & hangs garments based on store standards

Verifies correct quantities for store & case pack

Performs correct pick for store for item & quantities. Reports errors found to supervisor

Completes all documentation neatly & accurately

Maintains a clean & safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must achieve equipment operator certification on the job and operate as necessary for the position

Must be willing to be trained and operate radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as necessary for the position

Must pass a background check and drug screen

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons / bins weighing approximately 10-50 pounds repetitively

Ability to keep pace with production standards

Basic reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills

Manual dexterity

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
