Role Summary An Industrial Electrical Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading complex electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring each is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position demands strong leadership in field operations, proactive coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and a strategic mindset to drive project outcomes that align with our growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities
- Manage field operations for projects of various scopes and sizes.
- Understand and interpret Construction Documents for each assigned project, analyzing blueprints and specifications to guide project execution.
- Manage purchasing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously, optimizing costs and ensuring timely material procurement.
- Coordinate implementation of contracted scope with Owners, General Contractors, Construction Managers, and other trades as appropriate.
- Create, adjust, and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
- Track project effort metrics such as labor, spending, and production; regularly report progress to the Management Team.
- Approve timesheets and expense reports for field personnel.
- Provide and maintain construction documents such as Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Daily Reports, As-Built Drawings, etc.
- Provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls technical support to field personnel.
- Lead and foster field personnel in EHS awareness.
- Additional relevant duties and tasks assigned to support project success.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant electrical experience in construction or project management.Bachelor's in Engineering, or Construction Management (preferred).Valid NC Driver's License (required).Bilingual – Spanish (preferred).NC Electrical License (preferred but not required).Proficient with standard Microsoft Office programs (esp. Excel and Project), AutoCAD (preferred), Accubid (preferred), and Procore (preferred).Strong leadership and communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder management; excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting demands.Average physical effort required, including pulling and lifting or moving average weight material with occasional lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 25 and up to 40 pounds).
