Job Title :  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Department :  Respiratory Therapy

Location :  Summit, NJ

Schedule :  3x12-Hour Shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM); Variable Days

Duration :   8 weeks

Hours per Week :  36

Job Description :

We are seeking a  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)  to provide direct patient care services with a focus on :

Performing  pulmonary function testing

Initiating  CPAP therapy

Assisting with  training and education  on the proper use of inhalers

Supporting requests for continued use of  durable medical equipment (DME)  such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers

Setting up and educating patients on DME equipment

Collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care

Required Skills & Experience :

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) –  Required

Minimum  1 year of experience  in a hospital or physician's office –  Required

Proficient in computer systems and  basic computer literacy  –  Required

Education Requirements :

Graduate of a  CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program  –  Required

Graduate of an  AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program  –  Required

Certifications & Licensure :

RRT or CRT  credentialed by the  NBRC  –  Required

Valid  New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license  –  Required

Current  BLS and ACLS certifications  –  Required
