We have an everchanging take-away menu which is updated weekly and our retail fridge & freezer are stocked with gourmet goods. We offer a carefully curated retail and grocery space and our open kitchen space is set up for private events. Our standards are extremely high; our customers expect the quality, consistency, and level of service Chef Taryn curated during her decade of cooking for Oprah Winfrey.
We are looking for a unicorn. We’re growing like crazy and we need someone to help keep this ship running seamlessly. Are you a fabulous cook and also quick with a helpful smile for front of house? Are you easygoing yet neurotic in the best way? Are you kind? Can you keep your ego in check and work as a team ? Are you excited to collaborate on menus, marketing ideas & keep the creative juices flowing?
Must be meticulous and able to supervise kitchen support staff, when applicable.
We are NOT a restaurant. We are an open kitchen and you need to enjoy interacting with our customers and be able to step in and lend a hand to front of house when needed. Our staff is small, our hours flexible, and 80% are daytime. Weekends are our busiest days. We're looking for someone interested in all aspects of Kismet : Finding new, independently produced retail items to introduce to our customers, developing our own products, creating custom events, planning new classes and developing curriculum, choosing new cookbooks to sell, starting a cookbook club, etc.
