VP of Construction – Commercial General Contractor

A leading Commercial General Contractor in Lancaster, PA is seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to oversee operations, lead project teams, and drive successful delivery across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.

This is a senior executive position responsible for operations leadership, project performance, client satisfaction, and strategic growth. We are looking for someone with deep experience in commercial general contracting , strong leadership qualities, and a proven ability to run multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide executive leadership to project managers, superintendents, and field teams
• Oversee all construction operations from preconstruction through closeout
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule expectations
• Support estimating, preconstruction, planning, and client presentations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
• Develop staff, mentor teams, and support long-term organizational growth
• Implement operational processes, workflows, and cost-control strategies
• Drive company culture, safety standards, and continuous improvement
