$160,000 – $180,000 per year

Overview

VEIR is enabling high‑power, long‑distance power delivery solutions across the electricity value chain. As Technical Lead – Cryogenic Infrastructure, you will design, develop, and integrate liquid nitrogen infrastructure across all product platforms.

Responsibilities

In Your First 3–6 Months

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of VEIR’s cryogenic systems, distribution architecture, and integration across product platforms.
• Apply your technical expertise to guide design decisions, identify system‑level risks, and support problem‑solving during builds.
• Leverage leadership and coaching skills to motivate and align a multidisciplinary team, ensuring clear priorities and strong communication across engineering functions.
• Establish effective interfaces between the cryogenic infrastructure team and adjacent groups.
• Define deliverables, schedules, and key technical milestones for the cryogenic infrastructure roadmap.
• Evaluate team structure, resources, and project load, and propose improvements.
• Lead design and safety reviews for cryogenic subsystems, balancing innovation, reliability, and operational safety.
