Manager, Laboratory Services

45 Min South of Madison, WI | Full-Time, 80 Hours Biweekly | Day Shift, Monday–Friday with 24 / 7 Accountability

Currently seeking a Manager of Laboratory Services to play a vital role in overseeing quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

As Manager of Laboratory Services, you’ll work alongside a collaborative team of five lab managers and report to the Laboratory Director. You’ll help lead operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, introduce new technology, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and staff development.

Key responsibilities include :

Supporting lab operations across a multi-site health system

Ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and survey readiness

Leading performance improvement and quality initiatives

Managing staff onboarding, training, competency checks, and performance evaluations

Overseeing equipment acquisition, budgeting, and resource utilization

Collaborating on system-wide laboratory strategy and innovation

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (required)

3–5 years of lab leadership experience

Experience in a multi-hospital or integrated health system (preferred)

ASCP certification (preferred)

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other performance improvement methodologies (a plus)
