Job Overview
As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be pivotal in implementing and maintaining our Process Safety Management (PSM) standards to manage and mitigate risks effectively.
This entry-level position is ideal for new graduates or individuals looking to significantly impact a growing field.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of PSM risks and controls, maintaining programme health and compliance.
- Assist in developing and executing short- and long-term PSM objectives and strategies that prioritise safety and risk mitigation.
- Maintain rigorous safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Engage in continuous learning and application of industry best practices in process safety to enhance system safety and reliability.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless implementation of safety protocols and emergency response strategies.
- Facilitate and support site Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and other safety analyses, driving the resolution of safety recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of process safety principles and OSHA 29CFR 1910.119.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach, committed to continuous learning and development in process safety.
