We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Coplay, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in financial operations within the mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.

Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time.
• Oversee loan disbursements and loan sales, maintaining accurate records and tracking updates.
• Pull financial reports and activity from banking platforms, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Input financial details into Encompass software, maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Handle journal entries and ensure proper documentation for financial transactions.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are balanced and accurate.
• Track loans effectively, providing detailed reporting and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are organized and up-to-date.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial data.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Experience with journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and loan tracking.
• Ability to work 100% on-site Monday through Friday.
