Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. My client is seeking an experienced Accounting Director to lead a talented accounting team. You will be reporting to the Controller and managing a team of 2 direct reports and 2-3 indirect reports. This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. They are targeting 1 day a month onsite but are remote first so are open on location. The ideal candidate brings 9-10+ years of progressive accounting experience across both public and private settings, with strong technical expertise in areas like lease accounting (ASC 606). Strong management experience is a must have. You'll oversee a small team, guide key accounting processes, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. A CPA is preferred (MBA a plus), and payroll oversight experience is helpful though not required.
