Overview of the Human Resources Generalist Role :
- Recruiting : screen and interview potential employees
- HR Generalist conducts onboarding of new employees
- Maintain employee files
- HR Generalist participates in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
- Advocate for employee retention and development
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist :
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- Two years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Experience with a major payroll software is preferred
- HR Generalist needs the ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong communication and organization skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
