Overview of the Human Resources Generalist Role :

  • Recruiting : screen and interview potential employees
  • HR Generalist conducts onboarding of new employees
  • Maintain employee files
  • HR Generalist participates in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
  • Advocate for employee retention and development

Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist :

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Two years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Experience with a major payroll software is preferred
  • HR Generalist needs the ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong communication and organization skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
