RegisteredVeterinary Technicianin ourNeurology & Neurosurgerydepartment, you will play a vital role in supporting our specialists and ensuring the best possible patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include :Prepare surgical suite for each patientPrepare patients for anesthetic procedures including pre-op medications, induction / intubation, shaving and scrubbing surgical sitesMonitor anesthesia for pets undergoing MRIKeep accurate anesthesia / surgical medical recordsRecover patients from anesthesia, know and understand abnormal and when to alert the doctorPost-operative care including bandage changes, wound dressings, and physical restrictionsAbility to perform advanced veterinary technician duties. Including but not limited to : venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluids and CRIs.Strong medical math skills.
