Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks, US Headquarter office. You will work on-site a minimum of 2 days a week.
Advanced Forecasting Techniques :
- Ability to build detailed and advanced forecast model (patient, Rx, sales, Rx Based, etc.) projecting units and revenue for Amgen products by indication / regions
- Use advanced simulation models (e.g., Monte Carlo analysis, statistical trending) to quantify uncertainty
- Leverage diverse pharmaceutical data sources and their nuances to improve forecasting approaches and methodologies
Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence :
Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform forecasting models and strategic decisionsDevelop an objective brand strategy by integrating insights across multiple functions and capability areasCollaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :
Act as the key point of contact for global brand leads, engaging them in forecasting deliverablesFacilitate discussions and build consensus among stakeholders to establish clear and rigorous worldwide sales expectations for pipeline assetsStrategic Insights and Recommendations :
Support leadership in identifying actionable strategies to improve Commercial potential, prioritizing risks and opportunitiesProvide informed recommendations on product development continuation or discontinuation based on market conditions, financial projections, and strategic goalsCommunication and Presentation :
Develop and deliver clear presentations that articulate key variables in the forecast, ensuring comprehensive understanding for decision-makersApply communication and interpersonal skills to influence leadership on recommended courses of actionCollaboration with CDnA :
Collaborate with the broader CDnA organization to integrate comprehensive insights and analytics knowledge into forecast developmentImprove the depth and accuracy of forecasts by using a broad spectrum of insights across the organizationProcess Optimization :

Basic Qualifications :
Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics and / or forecasting experienceOrMaster's degree and 4 years of analytics and / or forecasting experienceOrBachelor's degree and 6 years of analytics and / or forecasting experienceOrAssociate's degree and 10 years of analytics and / or forecasting experienceOrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of analytics and / or forecasting experiencePreferred Qualifications :
Forecasting experience in the biopharma industryExperience with advanced spreadsheets, patient based forecast modeling including dynamic patient modelsWorking knowledge of forecasting inputs and structure, global access and reimbursement policies, and competitive environment and potential impact on product development and commercialization strategyAbility to interpret and analyze data trends, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisionsKnowledge and experience working with industry internal and secondary data sources; experience doing analog and uptake curve analysisStrong oral, written and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts, data, and insights clearly to a variety of audiences including senior leadership teamsStrong project management skillsable to organize and complete multiple projects efficiently and on timeAbility to quickly establish credibility with and influence senior level staffAbility to work collaboratively in team-based environmentHigh level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, WordWhat You Can Expect Of Us :

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
