Core responsibilities
Design and execute business development plans aligned to company goals.Source, qualify, and pursue new opportunities via research, networking, and outreach.Build credibility with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand account value.Collaborate with internal teams to shape solutions and deliver customer outcomes.Develop persuasive presentations and proposals that win competitive deals.Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to sharpen our edge.Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting for senior management.Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related; MBA preferred.5+ years in business development / sales (manufacturing or industrial automation preferred).Consistent success hitting and surpassing revenue targets.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.Strong strategic and analytical capabilities.Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.CRM proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.Ability and willingness to travel as needed.Preferred profile
10+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or field sales support.Experience in automation, robotics, or a specialized technical field.Advanced computer application literacy; eagerness to master internal systems.Proven account leadership engaging multi-level plant / facilities management.Manufacturing environment familiarity, blueprint reading competency, and strong customer service orientation.Compensation & perks
