Facilities Maintenance Worker

Key Responsibilities :

As a Facilities Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the following tasks :

• Building and Grounds Maintenance : Mow and trim lawns, and care for bushes and landscaping to maintain a neat and tidy exterior.
• Snow Removal : Clear snow from driveways, parking lots, and yard areas; ensure all entrances and walkways are free of snow and ice.
• Shop Floor Cleaning : Sweep and maintain a clean shop floor to ensure a safe working environment.
• Cleaning and Upkeep : Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.
• Painting : Perform touch-ups and finish painting on walls and surfaces as needed.
• Waste Disposal : Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash in accordance with company procedures.
• Restroom Maintenance : Replenish restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Lighting and HVAC Maintenance : Replace light bulbs, furnace filters, and perform other basic building maintenance tasks.
• Minor Repairs : Conduct minor repairs and maintenance to building equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Parts & Vehicle Delivery : Pick up and deliver parts, vehicles, and shuttle drivers as needed.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Regular Maintenance Schedule : Maintain and adhere to a regular maintenance schedule for all building systems and grounds.
