Overview Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Sterile Processing Department Supervisor will supervise, prioritize, and coordinate team workflow for the shift. Will ensure the appropriate decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of scopes and instruments dispensed by the department. The supervisor acts as a resource and ensures that infection control practices are being followed. Coordinates, plans, and assigns workloads and manages employee activities, time reporting, and scheduling. The role will provide recommendation on the performance of team members to the manager and ensure excellent customer service and effective operations. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5 years’ work experience in Sterile Processing Department. Titles and Number of Employees Supervised: Ambulatory Administrators, Clinic Supervisors Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Graduate or equivalent. Sterile Processing Certification from an accredited school/agency. Pay Scale Information USD $49,504.00 - USD $85,394.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
