State Management Analytics Manager

About the Company

Our client, a highly rated and strongly growing Property Casualty Insurance Company needs Product Professional with superlative technical and analytic skills to drive insights and competitiveness in the market. This role will leverage both your technical skills and business acumen!

Location : Remote or Hybrid Options Available

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Use your technical skills and business acumen to uncover growth and performance opportunities in the assigned market.
  • Analyze and monitor product performance to inform strategic decisions around underwriting, coverage, and pricing.
  • Help drive the creation of distribution performance analysis.
  • Assist the Team Leader by creating dashboards and building a range of analysis and reports to support leadership decisions.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in business, math or related.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science) strongly preferred, Master's degree helpful.
  • 5 or more years of relevant professional experience and demonstrate the ability to lead.
  • Strong background in product or analysis in Property Casualty Insurance.

    • Required Skills

  • Outstanding skills with SQL.
  • R and / or Python (or other programming languages) helpful.
  • Solid understanding of insurance concepts and financials.
  • Proven experience working independently while also collaborating in cross-functional teams.
  • CPCU or other insurance designations a plus.
  • Supervisory / managerial experience is a strong plus.
