Our client is a property management firm. They seek a temp to perm Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process utility bill payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness before month-end deadlines
- Record and post payments promptly to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Utilize Microsoft Excel daily to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets for tracking accounts and payments
- Monitor multiple accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper account status
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
- Coordinate with vendors to address and resolve outstanding issues
- Open, review, and sort incoming mail daily to support smooth office operations
