LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Human Resources Business Partner for a construction company located in the Bothell, WA. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization by supporting employees and managers, driving HR initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
What youll be doing :
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, and conflict resolution
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment
- Lead onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for new hires
- Manage employee data and records within the HRIS system; offer support and troubleshooting assistance to users
- Facilitate training related to performance management, harassment prevention, EEO / AAP, leave administration, corrective action and termination.
- Support recruitment efforts including candidate interviews, background checks, and applicant tracking
- Partner with leadership to communicate and implement policies, procedures, standards and ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations
- Support HR compliance audits and ensure adherence to employment regulations
Qualifications needed :
5 plus years of progressive Human Resources experienceA Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related fieldExperience working in a blue-collar environmentAbility to interface with cross-functional disciplinesAbility to communicate complex policies and deliver engaging training presentationsWorking knowledge of HRIS systemsBenefits :
Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 80 hours a year with an increase after tenure, 6 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave (Washington State).
