Clinical Research Coordinator - PACC

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Coordinator will provide support for studies in asthma and cystic fibrosis.

Responsibilities

• Initiate IRB applications for clinical trials in asthma and cystic fibrosis.
• Recruit study participants via advertisements.
• Schedule and conduct study visits.
• Manage communication with participants.
• Perform data entry and ensure data integrity.
• Interact with study monitors and liaise with contracted institutions.
• Attend investigator and coordinator meetings.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned / requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in clinical research
• Knowledge of pulmonary function testing and sweat chloride testing

Other Requirements

Participation in the medical surveillance program

• Contact with patients and / or human research subject
• Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
• Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
