The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Supply Chain role is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for ensuring alignment between business objectives and HR strategies in designated supply chain business units.
As a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership team, the Sr. HRBP acts as a strategic partner and functional expert on all HR-related matters.
They champion employee advocacy and drive cultural transformation initiatives while anticipating and addressing HR needs effectively.
The role involves collaborating closely with HR departments and business leaders to develop integrated solutions that support the organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR-related KPIs, specifically tailored to supply chain operations, and ensure objectives are met.
- Drive improvements in the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) in collaboration with the Supply Chain Leadership team.
- Administer Employee Engagement Surveys and lead initiatives to foster an engaging workforce within the Supply Chain function.
- Develop and execute plans to maintain a union-free environment.
- Partner with the Zone HR team to attract, retain, and onboard talent for all supply chain personnel.
- Advise and support Supply Chain leadership in career development and leadership programs.
- Identify training needs and oversee training programs for supply chain personnel.
- Advocate for Supply Chain within the Zone / Global HR function and implement HR initiatives accordingly.
- Maintain compliance with policies to ensure a safe and equitable work environment.
- Provide guidance on performance management and employee relations issues.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions and policies that drive business success.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Manage workers' compensation cases and leave of absence requests.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and other HR functions for supply chain personnel.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an exempt-level HR Business Partner in a supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution center environment.
- Certification in PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or ability to obtain certification within 1 year.
- Strong understanding of HR legal compliance and regulations.
- Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- Bilingual in English and either Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is required.
