The Physical Therapist assesses patients, formulates a plan of care and provides direct patient care services in accordance with the law and state practice act.
Services must be ordered by a physician. The Physical Therapist also supervises and delegates appropriate functions to the Physical Therapist Assistant or Rehab Technician.
This position works full time, M-F day shift. Currently offering a sign on bonus for qualifying full time Physical Therapists.
Required Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred Education :
Master's Degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Required Technical Skills :
Basic computer skills, good interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills, basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical needs of the population served.
Preferred Technical Skills :
Advanced skills / certifications in specialty areas, such as NDT, geriatric, orthopedics, etc.
Required Licensure / Registration / Certification :
Current Texas license as a Physical Therapist and BLS
Required Experience :
Work / educational experience in healthcare field
Preferred Experience :
One year experience as a Physical Therapist in a healthcare setting. Experience working with pediatric OR neuro patients.
