We are looking for you!

To operate ASU ( Air Separation Unit) plant. Operator role will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the process that produces Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon.

Monday through Friday, normal business hours plus on call required

PAY : Hourly Rate plus a 4% Annual Bonus

Opportunity to level up and grow within Airgas

The Production Plant Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.; also accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. The position will provide support to various types of processing plants in order to support startups, training and leave coverage for normal production technicians.

Preferred Qualifications

Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience is a plus.

Refrigeration - A basic understanding of refrigeration systems is a plus

Electrical / Instrumentation background is a plus

Working knowledge of manufacturing / production or processing knowledge in Petrochemical environment.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma required

Valid driver's license required

2 - 3 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred.

Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks

Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be a self starter with a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.
