Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product engineering, media engineering, quality assurance, engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager who can attract and retain diverse engineering talent, drive a culture of ownership and excellence, and own the development of strategic services and infrastructure. The right person will collaborate closely with partners, product & program managers, and developers across Disney Streaming organizations to deliver best in class customer experiences to enable growth of Disney Streaming products worldwide.
You'll join a hardworking group of engineers who build and manage systems that is the source of truth for all D+ telemetry and validates all telemetry for all D+ clients - ultimately powering D+ analytics and quality metrics. The team is also responsible for user friendly interfaces for E2E stakeholders like clint devs, QA, business analysts, backend engineers, product, etc.

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $167,700 - $224,900 per year, Seattle, WA / New York, NY is $175,800 - $235,700 per year and in San Francisco, CA is $183,700 - $246,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
