Manages construction projects. Supervises design and construction of concurrent construction and renovation projects. Tracks project schedules and budgets. Participates in decisions on contract negotiations and manages contracts with architect / engineer team, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Maintains policies regarding sole source and competitive bidding. Processes invoices, related scope modifications and change orders. Provides updates on construction activity and financial status of capital projects. Adheres to financial goals. Participates in long-range planning activities, project development, review and approval of construction documents. Ensures compliance with regulations and building codes related to hospitals and other facilities. Inspects work to ensure and maintain quality controls. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements : High school diploma or GED. Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred : Experience in hospital setting.
