Join Scripps Health at Registered Nurse - RN - Medical Oncology unit and make a positive difference in the lives of the patients we serve. This 60 bed Med / Surg and Oncology unit prides itself on offering excellence in patient care. As a Model Care and designated training unit, you will have the opportunity to positively impact new nurses and be part of fostering new grads to be successful.
With a 4 / 5 : 1 Nurse to Patient ratio, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. You will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his / her supervision. Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
