This is a full-time on-site position in Yardley, PA with no potential for remote work.
We are looking to add a new Global Payroll Specialist to our HR Team. You will be responsible for performing the full cycle, end to end payroll function for the Gentell group of companies in the US and Canada.
Your Future Responsibilities :
- Independently manage full cycle, end to end payrolls for US and Canada, currently 6 companies.
- Integrate additional acquisitions into payroll system
- Payroll Processing for hourly, salaried and contract employees within various pay cycles
- Commission processing bi-weekly payrolls
- Manage deductions within the payroll software, such as health insurance. retirement plans, garnishments, loans, etc. ensuring that these are accurately reflected in payroll calculations.
- Verify HR updates are reflected in the payroll in process.
- Provide reports as requested / required for Regulatory agencies and Executive Staff
- Support accounting inquiries regarding journal entries in ERP system
- Manage and respond to payroll related inquiries
- Establish / maintain all state and local tax applications and queries.
- Auditing and reporting in preparing financial reports related to payroll and conducting audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processing.
- Manage deductions within the payroll software, such as health insurance. retirement plans, garnishments, loans, etc. ensuring that these are accurately reflected in payroll calculations.
- Manage year end process within the payroll system
- Support the transition of all entities into new global payroll system
- Act as Liaison with various Payroll System Providers
- Support additional requirements of the Global Controller, US and Canada Controllers.
- Ad hoc projects as requested by management
Requirements : Your Strengths :
5+ years of payroll processing experience, global experience preferredExtensive hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity preferredProficient knowledge of MS Office with advanced skills in ExcelStrong knowledge of legislative compliance in the US and CanadaExcellent communicator with a keen awareness of appropriate internal and external interactionsTeam oriented with a strong level of personal accountabilityAbility to manage large payroll volume with close attention to detail within strict timelines and a high level of accuracyAcute awareness of working in compliance with both internal and external policies and legislative requirementsMaintain high level of confidentialityAbility to work independently with minimal supervision; and to identify and utilize available resources
