As part of the Business Transformation team, the Senior Analyst, Business Transformation will focus on supporting the enhancement of processes, technology, systems, and procedures (collectively, 'ways of working'). These enhancements will support the Global Renewables Scale to Grow (GRS2G) program objectives of

Supporting AES's clean energy business growth at scale.

Increasing the rate of on-time / on-budget performance of renewable energy project delivery.

Improving the quality of the experience of AES Clean Energy people.

In this role, the Senior Analyst, Business Transformation, will have an understanding of the AES Clean Energy Organization and / or the clean energy industry. They will work with many of AES Clean Energy's functional groups and support areas of organizational improvement that are needed to keep AES Clean Energy an industry-leading renewable energy and decarbonization solutions provider.

Main Responsibilities :

The Senior Analyst, Business Transformation will identify, plan, and communicate business improvements for 1-2 streamlined GRS2G workstreams / sub-workstreams. They will :

Gather insights from across the company about potential improvements to work methods.

Develop and facilitate workshop activities that help engage the business and ideate possible solutions.

Synthesize findings and make recommendations for improvements. Communicate and discuss these recommendations with the Business Transformation Leadership Team and key subject matter experts from the business.

The Senior Analyst, Business Transformation, will work cross-functionally to lead, design, and facilitate 1-2 streamlined GRS2G workstreams / sub-workstreams as well as develop and implement corresponding cross-functional organizational improvements. They :

Conduct internal stakeholder identification and engagement.

Lead the development of workstream improvement plans.

Assist cross-functional teams in implementing improvement plans and delivering business enhancements through program management capabilities (e.g., conducting progress meetings, monitoring deadlines, reporting, etc.).

Support cross-functional teams in drafting and creating critical business operations documents and supporting materials (e.g., processes, procedures, policies, charters, architectures, etc.), as applicable.

Assist cross-functional teams in identifying and engaging senior business leaders to make key business decisions.

Support cross-functional teams in implementing changes within the business using Change Management techniques.

Support cross-functional teams in establishing mechanisms to obtain feedback on the initiative and provide support in addressing this feedback.

Track initiative KPIs and synthesize insights and recommendations into executive-level presentations and decision-making materials.

Demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills by highlighting initiative progress to senior leadership and the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Business, Change Management, or equivalent study / equivalent work experience ; master's degree a plus.

3-5 years of direct experience in organizational change / process management and / or business consulting preferred.

Inquisitive, analytical, and problem-solving skills, adept at systems-level thinking, and possessing a "growth mindset."

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing healthy conflict while maintaining interpersonal business relationships.

Excellent facilitation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority is a plus.

Experience with digital management systems and / or artificial intelligence.

Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Agile , PMI, or PMP are a plus .

Knowledge of the energy industry and renewable generation technologies is a plus.

Solid Microsoft Office 365 knowledge, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint, is required, capabilities in SAP ERP implementation are a plus.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $82.500 and $99.025 / Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
