Patricia Wesson with Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to support a well-respected client in a long-term contract role. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in tax regulations, particularly for S-Corps and partnerships, and a strong command of tax software and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and file individual and partnership tax returns with precision and timeliness.
- Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx for tax processing and reporting.
- Apply advanced knowledge of S-Corp and partnership tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate customer records and resolve tax-related inquiries.
- Monitor tax accounts and ensure compliance with current laws.
- Identify potential tax credits and liabilities to optimize returns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline tax workflows.
- Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry standards.
Salary Range : $85,000 - $100,000

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or EA designation highly preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting.Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
