Hourly Pay Range : $20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights :
- Position : Medical Assistant and DEXA Technician
- Location : Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
- Full Time, 40 hours weekly
- Hours : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm or 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm
- Will work one Saturday every 4th week, 7am to 3 : 30pm
What You Will Do :
Functions as part of the Women's Health Center while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring patient's safety and privacy.Provide healthcare services under the direction of the Lead Mammography and / or designee.This position provides clinical support and direct patient care by working collaboratively with the care team while ensuring patient loyalty.Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Endeavor Health and the Service Guild and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the Hospital and the Guild.Use Cadence and Radiant to schedule and perform all patient exams.Consults with Radiologist when appropriate.Utilizes computer for acquisition and processing of bone density exams.Work with physician to generate complete and accurate DEXA reports in a timely manner.Maintains all records in compliance with department, state, and federal policies and regulations.Assist in the transporting of acutely ill patients as needed.Assist with clerical duties (phone, scheduling, computer entry, etc.).Help insure safe and clean working environment for patients and co-workersWhat You Will Need :
High School Diploma Required2 Years professional experience in the chosen discipline and qualified in appropriate educational methodologies.BLS Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) - American Heart Association (AHA) RequiredBenefits (For Full Time or Part Time Positions) :
