Job description

Our established client, a leading civil contractor with a proven track record of success, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple heavy civil projects. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional ready to take ownership of key infrastructure work and drive excellence in project delivery.

Project Manager Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $115,000-$125,000
  • $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple civil construction projects concurrently
  • Estimate and oversee earthwork, grading, demolition, and utility projects, including take-offs, pricing, and production scheduling
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, update schedules, and review costs with superintendents
  • Manage profit and loss for assigned projects through weekly cost reviews
  • Oversee all phases of project management-safety, scheduling, billings, cost reviews, change orders, and vendor coordination
  • Work closely with clients to ensure complete satisfaction and long-term partnership success
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Bid2Win, and PlanSwift for project management and estimating
  • Project Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in civil construction estimating and project management (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, site concrete, and structural concrete
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and field teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills
  • Valid Driver's License and clean MVR
