National Admissions Coordinator
The National Admissions Coordinator supports admissions operations by providing onboarding, training, and operational coverage for campus-based Admissions Coordinators. The role ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations, promotes consistency in admissions processes, and helps improve the prospective student experience through streamlined, standardized practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support for campus-based Admissions Coordinators to ensure consistency in processes and practices
- Deliver training programs for Admissions Coordinators across campuses
- Maintain current knowledge of admissions policies, procedures, and coordinator responsibilities
- Monitor and track admissions metrics, prepare reports, and identify trends or areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal policies, including FERPA requirements
- Conduct audits and participate in compliance reviews to confirm adherence to standards
- Collaborate with compliance and quality assurance teams on documentation and reporting accuracy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for process-related questions and operational issues from campus-based Admissions Coordinators
- Support the standardization and continuous improvement of admissions processes across the organization
- Work with campus leaders, admissions teams, and other departments to resolve issues and enhance the student experience
- Provide temporary on campus coverage and operational support for admissions offices during vacancies, leaves, or peak enrollment periods
- Participate in special projects and cross-campus initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma / GED (required)Associates Degree in business or other related field (preferred)Minimum five (5) years of experience in an admissions coordinator role (required)Experience in a career college or higher education setting (preferred)Proficiency in training, coaching, and supporting admissions staff across multiple locationsStrong knowledge of admissions processes, documentation standards, and compliance requirements, including FERPAAbility to analyze admissions data, identify trends, and prepare reports for leadershipProficiency with admissions systems, student information systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiencesAbility to build collaborative relationships with campus leaders, admissions staff, and cross-functional teamsStrong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProblem-solving and critical-thinking with the ability to recommend process improvements and resolve operational issuesAbility to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneouslyAbility to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates essential functions of the positionAbility to foster long-term relationships with stakeholdersAbility to navigate admissions and CRM systemsAbility to deliver training and guidance consistently across multiple locationsAbility to evaluate admissions processes and contribute to operational improvementsAbility to maintain confidentiality of student and employee information in compliance with FERPAAbility to travel occasionally to campuses to provide training, audit support, and coverageWork is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.This position is designated as Remote.
