Job description

Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering design and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Sr. Water Reuse Engineer to lead the design and implementation of water reuse and advanced treatment projects for the Southwest region. In this role, you will oversee complex projects from concept to completion, providing technical leadership, client engagement, and strategic support for sustainable water practices.

Key Highlights

  • Lead the design, planning, and implementation of water reuse and advanced treatment projects.
  • Oversee pilot studies, engineering reports, and construction documents.
  • Provide expertise in advanced processes (membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, UV / AOP, disinfection).
  • Manage permitting, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Mentor junior staff and ensure quality and technical excellence.
  • Support business development and growth initiatives in water reuse.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • PE license required
  • 12+ years' experience in water / wastewater engineering, with emphasis on reuse / advanced treatment.
  • Strong project management, regulatory knowledge, and communication skills.
