About the Role :

The Director of Ecommerce at NEST NEW YORK will drive digital commerce and growth across nestnewyork.com and support authorized online marketplaces, including Amazon and TikTok Shop (TTS), in partnership with the Vice President, DTC & Performance Marketing. This role oversees the end-to-end digital ecosystem—spanning site and storefront optimization, analytics, operations, innovation in features and functionality, and SEO / SEM. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ecommerce and a proven ability to scale DTC businesses through data-driven decision making, customer-centric strategies, and cross-functional leadership. This role will uniquely play a pivotal part in growing the fine fragrance business online. Applicants must be available to work 3 days / week in our Manhattan-based office.

Job Duties and Accountabilities :

• Develop and own the three-year ecommerce strategy and roadmap across nestnewyork.com and other digital commerce channels
• Be accountable for ecommerce sales performance, site / platform KPIs, and overall business outcomes
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to align product launches, campaigns, and promotions, as well as identifying and executing growth opportunities
• Collaborate with Operations and IT to ensure seamless fulfillment, system integrations, and process compliance
• Partner with Customer Service to ensure seamless customer experience and programming execution
• Track, analyze, and report on KPIs—including traffic, conversion, AOV, ROI, and marketplace rankings—providing insights that shape future strategies
• Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing ecommerce team with a culture of innovation and accountability
• Own monthly sales planning and product launch forecasting
• Manage the ecommerce budget in partnership with VP
• Lead the design, functionality, and ongoing optimization of nestnewyork.com to maximize user experience, conversion, and revenue
• Drive growth through performance analysis, customer segmentation, A / B and multivariate testing, landing page optimization, and creative partnerships
• Define and execute the ecommerce roadmap in partnership with external development agencies, balancing enhancements, innovation, and bug fixes
• Partner with CRM and Paid Media teams to deliver seamless omnichannel execution
• Support international growth beyond North America (US & CA), identifying partners, requirements, and compliance needs for new markets
• Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, marketplace capabilities, and emerging technologies, applying best practices and testing new approaches to enhance performance
