Radiology / Cardiology - Radiation Therapist

Job Summary (List Format) :

• Work Schedule : Sunday-Wednesday during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks; Monday-Friday otherwise
• Location : ProMedica Hickman Cancer Center, ProMedica Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH
• Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Patient Volume : 8 visits per day
• Work Setting : Adult outpatient, 1 treatment room
• Required Certifications : BCLS, ARRT, Ohio state license
• Experience Required : Minimum 3 years; first-time travelers accepted (no locals within 50 miles)
• Department Procedures : SRS, SBRT, IGRT, IMRT, Electron, and Conventional treatments
• General Skills : CBCT / kV / mV imaging (required); Wedges, Emergency Cases, Aria, EPIC, and Varian treatment machines (preferred)
• Pre-treatment Skills : CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, Custom molds / shields (preferred)
• Treatment Planning System : Eclipse (Varian)
• Specialty Treatments : Electron Field, Respiratory Gating / Breath Hold (Left Breast), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic and Benign Brain Tumor treatments
• Cancer / Illness Experience : Pancreatic, Testicular, Kidney, Prostate (w / Seeds / Fiducials), Leukemia, Hodgkin's / Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Graves Disease, Keloids
• Linear Accelerator Experience : Varian TrueBeam, TrueBeam Edge, Trilogy
• Documentation Systems : ARIA, Epic
• Uniform : Dark gray scrubs
