Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician / Engineer – Semiconductor Facility

Location : Austin, TX

Industry : Semiconductor Manufacturing / Advanced Technology Facilities

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support process and utility system controls within a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility in Austin, TX . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV distributed control systems , process automation, and instrumentation associated with high-purity and critical utility systems.

This position plays a key role in supporting facility operations, commissioning activities, system integration, and troubleshooting of complex control systems that are essential for semiconductor production reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

System Integration & Commissioning :

• Lead or support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of process and utility control systems, including instrumentation calibration and loop checks.
• Configure and optimize DeltaV control modules, graphics, and alarm strategies to ensure process stability and compliance with fab standards.
• Support functional and integrated testing of instrumentation and controls during tool installation, utility startup, and facility expansion projects.
