What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or violations of site policies. Document and communicate any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or activities at the location. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment for all occupants and visitors. Minimum Requirements : At least six months of security-related experience is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and proof must be provided to the client upon request. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
